Excellent surprise

An enjoyable story. Action packed. Fun ride. Can't wait for more in the series. Get it.

Fast paced.

Never got dull or bogged down with inane details like so many do. A pleasure to read. I look forward to more in the series.

Pierce Hunt is a great character!

What an aggressive, determined name he has! There are lots of things to lament in this story such as losing one's family to the job, and then losing your friends to the bad guys. This is a long story with several required chases and a complicated plot full of really bad drug pushers. It is well-written and exciting all the way through. The secondary characters are well-fleshed, credible, and interesting. Hunt's ex-wife, her new husband, and daughter as well as a couple of the "bad" guys are great. I'm really glad this is a series.

Lost interest

I hate when a book is said to be another “Jack Reacher” thriller. Should know that’s an indication it isn’t. Good enough to get me through that long drive but not up to a Reacher thriller.

Great Listen

Loved it. Great story and wonderful voice acting. Looking forward to the next exciting installment.
