I truly find it amazing how Dr Real seems to portray so many life experiences as commonplace and simply needing fresh perspective to heal. Thank you

This is the kind of book we need more of in our society! Men need to hear another man say, "It's ok to acknowledge what happened, to feel your feelings, and to cry. Here's how to do it." It's about time we all had more compassion and understanding for the repressed male, for the covert depression that drives their behavior, and stopped labeling this pathology strictly "toxic masculine." Our men, women, children, and ancestors deserve much better. Perhaps if they felt they had more people like Terrence and his clients to rel as te to, we'd see more men in therapy, doing the work, and healing their wounds instead of blaming "how I was raised," for their uncontrollable negative tendencies. Real gives examples of men doing such work from all walks of life, and their success stories simply warm the heart, aside from illuminating the potential for healing for men everywhere. Read, recommend, pass it along!

Must read for ALL men, their partners, and more
