Overcoming it all to hit the perfect note. All of Jackson Phillips’ dreams are coming true. His band is finally getting the recognition it deserves, he’s spending the summer with his best friend, and he can’t get enough of his gorgeous girlfriend.

But everything is about to change when American Thieves goes on tour.

Margot Reid may be excited about her classes and her new job at a local magazine, but she dreads Jackson leaving. She’s gotten used to waking up to him in her bed, and now he’ll be in a new city every night, surrounded by adoring fans.

With equally hectic schedules and the growing distance between them, Jackson and Margot navigate juggling their aspirations while still holding onto the one thing that makes them happier than anything else, each other.

As they learn to balance following their dreams and true love, the two are faced with an undeniable question. If forced to make a choice, would they choose each other?

I Just Want To Be Yours is the steamy sequel to Just Don’t Call Me Yours, an enemies to lovers college romance with a rockstar twist.

Typically I hate a miscommunication trope but this one was so real and relatable. The dual POV was perfection and really highlighted how both people can be thinking the same thing but assume the other person is thinking something completely different. The narration was impeccable!

Perfect rockstar romance

This book was so good. Right amount of story, spice, and heartache. Crossing my fingers for a third book with 2 of the side chracters or a spinoff with them. You have to read to the end to find out.

Loved!!

I adooored this series and it felt so good to go back to it! This time I had the chance to listen to this 2nd book and it was AMAZING! I really loved the narrators and the way they oozed of emotions. I really got immersed all over again in this story and all those uncertainties.

I fell in love with the first book of this series *Just don't call me yours* and I was sooo excited for this sequel!! Thank you so, so much Heather for accepting me to receive and e-ARC!💙

This review is for the ones who read the first book because the story continues with our protagonists and their lives, after Jackson seriously started with his music career. He is part of American Thieves band and they embark on tour. But Jackson's half, Margot, was left behind and now they need to tackle the long distance relationship. Are they going to trust each other and will their relationship survive without seeing each other for months?

The way the author writes is just the perfect style for me. Every subject was so wonderful exposed: the insecurities, the worries and the love that Jackson and Margot have for each other. They are two young people who are finding out how to be in a relationship, in the first place, and then to figure out how to do it without seeing each other for a long while. Margot was having a rough time being apart from Jackson and her job didn't help her either, because all the pressure was affecting her and struggled a lot not to fall apart. I understood her insecurities and it was kinda funny how she was always overthinking stuff.

I just loooved the connection between Jackson and Margot. They just had that magical thing together and they won me over again in this book. I wasn't sure if it would be as amazing as the first one, but it definitely exceeded my expectations and I adored this part too. Of course that the secondary characters played their essential part in this book too and I liked the gang so much!

I truly recommend this amazing 'Just Yours' series, if you love a enemies to lovers trope, present in the first book, and rockstar and on the road tropes for this second one. The main focus of both books is the wonderful bond between Margot and Jackson, which was really genuine in my opinion.
