President Putin is determined to start a war and regain some territories lost following the breakup of the Soviet Union. NATO is desperate to preserve peace.

With the sporting world focused on Russia for the forthcoming World Cup, Putin believes he can start putting his tyrannical plans in place.

In desperation, the British Intelligences' best agent flies out to Moscow under the disguise of a comic book writer conducting research for a new character called Shadow Informant.

His actual intention is to meet up with a former lover who may have crucial information for him.

Set against the backdrop of the World Cup in Russia in 2018, and the geopolitical money laundering and betrayal, this thriller lays out a scenario that is totally plausible and may indeed have happened.

Very interesting spin on current events. You know how some people you click with and some you dont. This narrator for me was just meh. Now dont take that the wrong way because he did a genuine bang up job, many different voices and very good range. Its most because i cant tolerate listening to anything slower than 2x and at that pace he and i are not a good fit. If i slowed it down a little it was perfect pitch and sound but then my mind wanders. So dont let my hangups dissuade you from listening to what is otherwise a well done tale about current events.

Interesting for sure
