I am the mother of an autistic non-verbal child, and I decided to write this book with the hope that it would help another parent or caregiver like myself in the early stages of diagnosis of Autism. The process begins with the acceptance of the diagnosis of their child which then facilitates immediate action to ensure the future success and well-being of the child. I had no help when I started on this journey with my son, so I'm hoping to be a help, a blessing, or a guiding light to someone who needs it at this time. I am writing this book from my experience as the mom of an autistic non-verbal child that was diagnosed very early, where they had interventions put in place immediately. I realize that everyone's experience is different, as the spectrum is wide and varied. My most fervent wish is that this is helpful in any way to another mom/dad/caregiver going through the same struggles I myself overcame. Peace and blessings.
