Amy McBride and Jones Quebedeau have been best friends forever. Amy runs the pet sanctuary in Mistletoe Meadows and Jones is the town veterinarian. Amy helps Jones as a vet tech and Jones donates his services for her stray animals. They do pretty much everything together.

When Jones's aunt dies and leaves him a large inheritance, with the condition that he must be married to receive it, he enlists Amy's help to find him a suitable bride. But there isn't anyone he'd rather spend time with than Amy, so it just makes sense that they'd tie the knot, and both of their businesses could use the influx of money.

But will marriage upset the solid friendship they've had for most of their lives? Or will a wedding, and a little help from the Christmas season, show them that there was always something deeper between them?

Such a Sweet Book!

Oh my goodness, Jessie, you really hit me hard with this audiobook! The scene at the hospital, had me crying and I thought the pastor was amazing. I wasn’t anticipating that scene in one of your books.
On the other hand, you’re wit had me laughing with one liners like, “He started it!”
I only wish you had been writing these types of books and I had found them 50 years ago. I think they would have been influential on my life and my closeness to my sweet Lord Jesus Christ. I pray many more readers find you sooner in their life rather than later, as I think you will have a profound influence on them. So far this has been a beautiful series to listen to, and I really liked your Amy and Jones characters!
