Wearing Your Emotions on your Spots!

This was so unique, cute and fun on audible. Liam Dicosmio & Michael Dean brought on all the pink squishy goodness. I loved the fact that Hugo & Roark had a language barrier. The way they learned to communicate and try to understand each other was so sweet. Roark's spots turned colors showing his moods. SO ADORBS!

Bad, But in the Best Way

First things first. The performance here is outstanding. The narration alone makes this book worthwhile.

The writing is pretty good, but tends to put us a little too much in the characters' heads. Things can feel pretty detached from the 'action'.

As for the story, here's what you're getting into: It's 11 hours 44 mins focusing entirely on the relationship of the two main characters. Almost nothing happens outside that. There are spicy scenes but probably not at the pace most "romance" readers would prefer.

As squishy as Roarke

Soft, sweet, spicy, with such an emphasis on communication even when it’s difficult. The continued world building was satisfying and incredibly fun with a fun peek at familiar characters and some I really hope to see again! The narration and performance was so good and kept me engaged start to finish. Highly recommend and cannot wait for future books in this universe!

Loved this very original story!

Engaging story with loveable characters and interesting world building. The voice actors did a great job conveying the characters' personalities and emotions. I must say, this is one of my favorite bl stories and I had read the book several times before buying the Audible version. If you are tired of the same old tropes and storyline, you should buy this book. Definitely worth it.
