Mushroom fae Claude Stinkhorn leads an extraordinarily boring life. He works as a conductor on Remy's underground railway, lives alone in a windowless, basement apartment, and occasionally enjoys a moderately priced chai latte. He's never been happier.

Professor Sonny Daye has been working on the same mycology paper for the past few decades, but he's not giving up. After all, his findings could eradicate famine and help save the planet. He knows with first-hand research, he'll have it finished in no time. But first-hand research means talking to a mushroom fae, and mushroom fae are a notoriously tight-lipped and secretive species.

Luckily for Sonny, the perfect opportunity lands directly in his lap. Which is great news, and not in the least bit weird or suspicious.

Shroom for Improvement is the first book in the Mythical Mishaps Series, and can be enjoyed as a standalone. Expect silliness, slow burn, steam, and mushroom puns galore.

I admit the start is kind of slow but the middle and ending are amazing also the side characters are amazing the MCs are cute

Magical Mishaps Indeed

This was a fun time. It was cute and cozy, with the right amount of stakes. I really enjoyed the STEM side of it through Sonny, and Jenny was probably one of my favorite characters.
The narration was really nice as well ☺️

Whimsical, funny, and just enough stakes to keep me interested.

Great cast of characters in a whimsical setting. Excellent job by the narrators. The stakes weren't world ending but they were high enough to keep me invested. The steamy scenes never made me cringe and the HEA felt earned
