Loved it

This story was a lot of fun. Miles and Winter stile my heart in the best way. Sola too! And those kids! I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. Zachary Zaba did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Hilarious and Cute!

Miles, who owns a magical pest company, and is known for his humane catch and release policy, gets called into remove a gnome infestation at a ginormous mansion. The kicker? Miles is terrified of gnomes!

With the aid of his former high school crush turned neighbor, Winter, who just so happens to work for a rival pest control company, the two uncover a curse on the house that has turned the normally docile gnomes into angry little psychos.

Honestly, this was seriously so cute and fun! Miles and Winter were precious, and I loved that their story was a blend of sweet romance and magical mystery.

Cannot wait for more of this series!

Did It Have To Be Gnomes?! is the first book in the Carry A Faerie series. This is the story of Miles and Winter. I loved this book so much because the characters are so real. I loved the unique idea of fairy type creatures being pests and Miles running a humane exterminator service. This was just a fun book overall. I loved the world building and characters. I can't wait for the next book in the series so I can learn more about Miles and River. Michele Notaro is an amazing author and I look forward to the next book in the series. If you get the audio narration, Zachary Zaba does a wonderful job of narrating this book. He makes the change in characters seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this book.

Such a cute story with a lot of heart

Both Zachary Zaba and Michele Notaro nailed it with this one. I absolutely adored Miles and Winter. Miles has taking on a big job trying to get gnomes out of an extremely large house. He asks Winter to help as Winter has experience as an exterminator. It was nice that while these two knew each other in high school, they weren't that close. It gave them time to learn who the other person was while on the job. Of course, more happens that's unexpected but this unlikely team with a few other bonus side characters was truly special. I loved how both Winter and Miles wanted to take care of Chaos and his brother. This is a well paced, super fun story with amazing characters. Zachary did an awesome job of bringing them back to life. This one is not to be missed and I can't wait for more!
