What would happen if…

The dystopian setting of this novel is a compelling thrill ride that kept my earbuds glued to my ears. Both books in the Ren Dyer series are a must read together for the full effect. The relationship between the two main characters, Ren and Andy is a sweet, steamy treat. The audio version makes the experience complete. Sarah Kempton expertly brings both the suspense and the joy of new love alive. Claire Highton-Stevenson is a talented writer and I’m so glad I found her. And I love that her fans can follow her on Patreon for free. Soon there will be more of her titles in my library. Thanks for doing what you do Claire!

As your world crumbles can anything bring you home

Ren Dyer is unlike any bodyguard. Andrea Fielding Home Secretary is who she is charged to protect. As their world brutaly and violently implodes. can Ren keep Andi safe? This end of the world story is scary, realisticly frightful and sometimes horrifyingly gross but with a romantic twist. Sarah Kempton brings complex characters to life. The dialogue has playful banter, totally hot wlw moments and dire conversations. I am not a end of the world reader but I loved this book and this listen was spectacular. Claire Highton Stevenson has book 2 in this series In Dyer Circumstances - The Final Chapter set to release Feb. 12. Listen to or read this book before then. Then see how the story continues!!!!!!

A really great listen!

The more I read or listen to Claire Highton-Stevenson's work, the more impressed I become. Granted, I've only read three so far (and have several more in the queue) but every one has been completely unique. I was immediately intrigued with this thriller set in Britain about a worldwide apocalyptic event. It's a really interesting premise, the two female MCs are strong and admirable, and there are a host of other characters that really add to the story. And although the book primarily deals with the effects and survival of the event, there is also a lovely (and hot) romance at the heart of it. I also discovered a new narrator in Sarah Kempton. Wow. She has an absolutely delicious English accent and a deep repertoire of voices and dialects for the various characters - both male and female. She doesn't just have a great voice - she performs it beautifully as well. I'm completely impressed with her and am very hopeful she'll do the follow-up. Highton-Stevenson is quickly becoming a go-to author for me. Highly recommend!

Excellent book

I started to read this book while all over the US there were riots, during the pandemic and boy, was it not the right time, but I could hardly put this book down to go to sleep.
On one hand this comes out from such an amazing imagination on the other seeing what is happening in the world you can actually see it happening.
I already have the sequel and I am going to listen to it right now...

Best lesbian romance novel

I have read so many lesbian novels but this one is AMAZING!! This would be a great movie
