Great start with ho hum finish

Gangbuster start but the ending was anti climactic and pretty boring. We liked the narrator, he was easy to
Understand in a noisy car.

Solid intrigue, great narration

In His Wake by Chad Zunker was a solid addition to my recent binge of spy and operative novels—especially after reading the Charles Jenkins Series by Robert Dugoni. Compared to those books, this story felt a bit lighter in depth and detail.

The novel moves quickly and benefits from having fewer narrators, which keeps the story easy to follow. However, the plot sometimes felt a little shallow, and I found myself wishing for more suspense, intrigue, and layered development throughout the story.

The ending, in particular, seemed to come together somewhat clumsily, wrapping things up a bit too quickly after the buildup. Despite that, it was still an enjoyable read overall.

While it didn’t quite reach the level of complexity I was hoping for, it was entertaining enough that I’d still be interested in trying other books by this author.

Another great story by Chad Zunker!
I was so excited for this book to be released and it didn’t disappoint!
The characters are great and I love how he brings all of the characters to life in the story! I hope there will be a sequel to this book as I would love to see where this story line could continue!
I can’t wait for the next book by Chad Zunker!
