She's being targeted.

Single mom Bailey Thompson faces trouble head-on when her property becomes the target of vandalism. The incidents aren't acts of mischief; they're calculated threats that jeopardize her livelihood and the safety of her young sons. Thankfully her friend refuses to let her face the danger alone.

He won't leave them defenseless.

Former police detective Nate Walker possesses a keen eye for detail and a determination to help his friend who he's secretly in love with. As he delves into a series of seemingly unrelated incidents, he realizes the situation is far more complicated than it originally seemed to be.

They refuse to give up.

As the threat escalates leaving Bailey's family in danger, Nate is in a desperate battle against time to identify the perpetrator and safeguard those he loves. The stakes are high, and the race is on to uncover the truth.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters and story were a bit different from typical listens which was very refreshing. This one was a perfect evening listen - suspenseful and engaging but not so intense that I couldn't sleep afterwards. I did not see that twist at the end coming. While the story was complete as is and feels finished, I would still love to hear more about Bailey and Nate and the fate of the farm! Looking forward to the next book in this series!

Suspense but not too intense

I really enjoyed listening to this book! The narrator did a great job making changes to her voice for each of the characters, I was able to keep track of who was speaking without any problems. I found the story well written with likeable, believable characters. The mystery had enough twists and turns to keep me guessing, and I was surprised by one of the people involved!! The romance built up nicely, and I loved the fact that faith was shown throughout the story!! I would recommend this book and the audio version of it!!

Excellent audio of an awesome book!

This was such a great friends to more Christian suspense novel. I have loved listening to this whole series. The narrator did a great job of making the words come alive and drawing me in to the story . It could be read as a standalone but the characters from previous books are in all of the books of the series and I love getting to read more about them. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Great addition to the Danger in Destiny series

A suspenseful audiobook that I loved. The Danger in Destiny Series is fastly becoming a favorite for me.
Bailey and Nate are good friends and have been for a while. He was her husband’s best friend after all. Joe, Bailey’s husband has been dead for about two years. Actually Nate is in love with Bailey but has always kept that hidden. When Bailey’s farm animals went missing and a gate was torn down she didn’t know who to call except her friend Nate. He does everything he can to find out who is behind all the vandalism. She has two little boys to care for plus run her store and take care of the chores around the house. This book really surprised me when I found out what had happened and who did it. And little romance and a whole lot of surprises. Don’t miss this audiobook. I enjoyed the narrator too.
I received a copy of this audiobook from the author but was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own

Surprised!

I enjoyed listening to this while washing dishes and doing laundry. The characters are relatable. Bailey and Nate find their relationship shifting from friendship to romantic and they work through the mystery of property sabotage. The characters are well developed and rely on their faith. Overall an enjoyable read. Planning to go back and read the remaining books in the series.

Clean romantic suspense
