She once wounded his pride.
Now her father’s life may depend on his compassion.

When sudden illness strikes at Longbourn, Elizabeth Bennet finds herself unprepared for the quiet courage of the man she once refused. Fitzwilliam Darcy—reserved, decisive, and inconveniently kind—steps forward to offer help no one else can give.

Days of worry turn into nights of reflection. Gratitude blurs into something far more dangerous, and Elizabeth must decide whether her heart has changed—or merely learned at last to understand.

Set in the familiar world of Pride and Prejudice, this variation transforms misunderstanding into tenderness and shows that even the proudest hearts may learn both sense and love.

excruciatingly unedited. promising premise though.
Repetitive texts, missing words, timeline issues.
For a "witty" lady, E is mute most of the time. D (the introvert) is made to start practically every conversation.
E. is 2 steps forward, 4 steps backwards. she's in love, then forgets it, she respects D, then she "discovers" she could respect him 2 days later... and so on.
Can't figure out how many times E all of a sudden understands something, forgetting she's already had that insight a few chapters back.

practically unedited..
