A very nice rendition of this book. I enjoyed enough to purchase the next book

I was looking for a new series and I found it!

I was looking for a new Sci-Fi series, and I found it. The setting for the story gets you to "see" what is happening in each moment, and the universal details are perfectly brought together. This series takes what I like best and find plausible in other series and adds this to this universe. What I also like is the value of time in this book. I consider anything over 10 hours to be a decent book, and this one clocks in at over 13! THANK YOU for that value!

Best book I've listen to.

This is one of the best books that I have listen to in a long time, To the point of non stop listening. I expect that book 2 is just as good as book 1.

A great story, well developed

The character development and the interaction between characters as excellent. The story was crafted in a similar way to other great SCI Fi writers. Anne McCaffery comes to mind. I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

a great, if sometimes repetitive, jaunt in space

great story/ narration and interesting characters. the exposition repeats but gets better throughout. highly recommend
