Used to pretending he’s someone he’s not, 21-year-old college student Micah has been hiding his true self. When a prank sends him into a bar on kink night, he finds something he never knew he needed: A world so strange, yet so alluring, where someone offers to take care of him...even though escaping all the pressure sounds too good to be true. But can he find something lasting with a daddy who likes to pamper him? Can he trust Carter to be his first in so many ways?
At 40, Carter is a widower. Though he’s past the stages of grief, he’s still completely lost without his late husband. There’s a hole in his life he doesn’t think he’ll ever fill. But Micah doesn’t only fit perfectly in Carter’s lap - he’s also curious about all things related to age play. Can he coax Micah out of his shell so he can become the femme, carefree, happy little he’s meant to be?

Feels: Micah’s journey to finding confidence in himself was so heart-warming and lovely how Carter also finds value to life with Micah
Drama: one chapter worth of a mess created by annoying characters
Heat: 3.5/5 slow-burn
Characters: likable MCs and friends, ignorant parents without boundaries, bullies
Pacing: just right
Length: normal, no filler
Ending: Sweet HEA coming full circle
Performance: Kenneth Obi is great at giving distinct voices to characters; Carter’s deep smooth Daddy and Micah’s sweet innocence with a touch of sassiness.
Sweetness!

Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes
What did I like about the story? immersive story, interesting (well developed) characters and good pace.
○ Carter: I like that Carter was respectful of Micah's innocence and didn't rush him and that all he really wanted was to be there for Micah and help him grow into a more confident person.
○ Micah: I like that Micah was open to trying new things and embraced the new experience's Carter was giving him. I like that he was able to grow into himself and feel comfortable in his own skin.
R. Phoenix and Chris McHart have written a story that gently introduces the reader into an Age Play / Little's relationship, giving insight into what it is, why it's done and the emotional aspects of it.

I loved seeing the way their relationship took shape. Carter is a good man who helps Micah find his way. The two are wonderful together and I loved how they each fought to keep the love that they discovered. Their story is a beautiful one full of emotions. Narrator Kenneth Obi does a great job of bringing that emotion out in these characters and allowing the listener get lost in the story.

The narration performance is wonderful as well. Read slowly enough to feel like you are savoring it and really understanding what's going on but not too slow where it's annoying.
This is exactly the kind of BDSM and Age Play representation we need. Even the M/M stuff is well written and shows that there's more than just one way to have sexy times.
Utterly Perfect
