I love this book! Pippa Grant just keeps upping her game! If you have read America’s Sweetheart, you met MacKenzie as Sara’s best friend & Copper Valley Fireballs fanatic. In Jock Blocked, the baseball superstitions continue and get even better!

Brooks Elliot has been traded to the Fireballs from his hometown team and hates the move. Mackenzie is the Fireballs’ most tenacious fan and she’ll do anything to help her team win, including cock block the team’s newest acquisition.

Elliot family text messages, Pippaverse character cameos, and lots of Cooper Rock add extra charm to this romcom. Fireballs Mascot shenanigans will make you laugh out loud! Jock Blocked is genuinely sweet, heartfelt, hilarious, and hot!

Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan are an incredible duo! From a talking dog collar to “drunk” singing, Jacob’s talent shines through. Andi’s performance of MacKenzie is perfection.

“I’m damn well gonna have my cake and eat it too. And in case you’re wondering, you’re my cake. You will always be my cake.”

Drunk Brooks is the best!

Whenever I need a good laugh I ‘open’ a Pippa Grant book. As soon as I heard who the narrators would be for the audiobook I knew I had to listen to it first before I read it. I’m so freakin glad I did. Jacob Morgan as Brooks... does it get better than that?! Andi Arndt as Mackenzie... perfection.

Now let’s get to the story... first of all I feel like this is my dream life. I’m a HUGE baseball fan... Go Cardinals! Some may say I’m obsessed which is exactly why I can totally relate to Mackenzie. Her love for all things Fireballs draws you in. Brooks is the 30 year old virgin who was recently acquired by the worst team in baseball. Superstitions abound and the antics are typical Pippa and I’m here for it. The bonus epilogues are everything you didn’t know you wanted and more.

Word to the wise: don’t read/listen if you hide your snorts. Baseball and Pippa... sign me up! Now I need Cooper’s book!

Jacob Morgan is so good, I can feel every machine he is trying to convey. Great story, Pippa Grant gives a good mix of sexy and funny. Slow burn and not my favorite but Pippa made it work. Jacob Morgan helped!

funny hard to stop listening to

I loved and will listen to it again. It was funny and held my interest the whole time.

Waited to read this one, don’t why…

It was funny, romantic and touchingly just right. Loved Mac and her Brooks together. When you wait 30 years for the right one to come along, you want to get it right. Brooks does in finding Mac. Well done!
