With the closing of the Calder Springs' timber mill, most of the town's residents are left unemployed. Several families, realizing the lack of a future in the small mountain town, soon decide to relocate.

Eastern-educated Julia searches for a way to bring business and people back to Calder Springs—a task she feels God leading her to accomplish.

Good story!

This is a good story, but it moves slower than her other books. I don't think Janette Oke could write a bad book, but this isn't one of her best.

Any other Janette Oke book... the person encountered troubles, she learned a lesson and everything worked out in the end.

Yes, the performance was fine. The issue was with the background noise on the recording.
