Two rival radio personalities. Lori Martin is a positive and upbeat DJ, known for playing love songs and dedications. Ben Baxter dishes out no-nonsense, in-your-face relationship advice. Total opposites. Never in a million years would they want to work together.

Fired for losing her cool after her boyfriend breaks up with her on the air, Lori surprisingly receives a job offer for the coveted morning show at the radio station across town where Ben works. She thinks she's replacing him but finds out they want to team up Lori with her archenemy to set the air waves on fire and boost ratings. Financially strapped, she can't turn down the job.

While their on-air fireworks and explosive chemistry make for great listening, what in the world will happen after work hours?

One of his better ones

This is a squeeky clean, G rated, Hallmarky, dad-jokey romance with lots of musical references. Perfect for very light no-brainer escapism. I love that Mr. Amooi's characters are in their 40s. For me the best parts of this story are when the H and h are on air together. Surprise! Sweet little Lori can meet Ben's blunt approach comment for comment and snark for snark. They have some good one-liners that made me LOL. Mr. Amooi's real life experience as a radio personality adds realism and his musical knowledge enhances the story. The narration is adequate although I preferred to read it.

Love Stinks!

A clean romance, no sex. I enjoyed this story although I would have like the banter back and forth to be a bit funnier. This was a new author for me, and I might buy another book by this author if on a sale, but maybe not a full credit. Male narrator was great, the female narrator was okay, but she grew on me.

Sexy and cute!

I’m a sucker for a good rom-com movie and book. This one actually made me LOL many times and blush at the same time. The narrators did an awesome job bringing the story to life. 5 stars

Cute story

This is a cute story with lots of humor. The narrators do a great job.

Ok

The story had potential, Quickly the romance becomes too easy, too cutsie. The tension comes late in the story. The sings/ content is dated ( not 1 so g from the 2000s) and some of the advice was very sexist and rubbed me the wrong way. It could have been better, but female narrator delivery was off...choppy, and her male voice odd. This definitely detracted from the quality of the story.

Since it was a free book included with my membership, I was ok.
