But as that apology opens a door long shut, Livia and Declan give in to the spell of nostalgia, basking as all those old feelings kindle anew. They're fully grown now, with lives in different places. Will this brief encounter be enough to convince Livia to give the undeniable connection between them a real second chance?

Entertaining

This was a great addition to the Men Of The Misfit Inn series. It was an entertaining read that drew me in and had me invested from the first chapter. This is Livia Applewhite and Declan Callahan’s second chance at love story which ticked all the boxes for me.

Declan has returned to his home town for his brother’s wedding and comes face to face with the woman who he walked away from without explanation years ago, Livia. Now Declan needs to apologize and explain to Livia what really happened, if only she will listen.

I fell hard and fast for single dad Declan, his relationship with his hearing impaired daughter Scarlett was heart-warming. He was totally swoon worthy man and I really liked Livia. Both Livia and Declan have been through a lot over the years and I really felt for both of them.

I was really cheering for them to get the happily ever after that they deserved. I also loved catching up with previous couples in the series and that added an additional layer to the story.

Amy mcFadden does a credible job with her narration, however her male voices in my opinion let the story down a little. She brought the characters to life. Her voice is pleasant and easy to listen too.
