Another phenomenal story

6/5 stars. Abby is such an amazing writer and I LOVED all the Easter eggs from Part of your World & Yours Truly. If you haven’t read those, go read them before reading this one! I love when series interconnect. Thank you Abby for another amazing listen.

It made me cry in the best way.

This book packs an emotional wallop. Be prepared for the difficult themes that she tackles in this book, she has a list of trigger warnings in the beginning. Speaking for myself though, this book was so very worth it. Finely crafted story with some of my favorite romantic tropes: found family, forced proximity and the male main character as a strong, masculine love interest who is also a responsible adult who takes care of those around him. It was funny, and tender, poignant and sexy. In short, it is one of my favorite books this year.
The narration was excellent. Audiobook narrators can sometimes enhance the experience or take away from the story. I was happy to find out that, for me anyway, it was the former rather than the latter.
Thank you Abby for writing this. It brought me joy.
