Unexpected

The plot twist of Chicago being two of the twins father was unexpected. Can't wait to see how the story develops from there with the relationship between the brothers. h
I hope they survive the madness.

as a Dr yes it can and happens waaaaaay more than you'd think... I always tell my patients that they need to let their children know their siblings... if they have different fathers and/or mother's.... lawd
You did some serious weaving and suspenseful connecting craziness through this whole entire series I couldn't even wait for all the audio books I had to read them
As a personal note narration is everything and these 2 narrators did their big thing

Good story, but....

The story was very interesting and kept my attention. The author kept using repetitive words and phrases such as "orbs" and "kissing my teeth". I'm reading the book in the series and its the same way, maybe its just her style. The male narrator leaves a lot to be desired, at times it sounds as if he's reading through clenched teeth.

Good story, but…….

I enjoyed this book, but not so much for the male narrator. I guess a lot of people like his voice, but to me, it sounds like he’s mumbling & talking with a mouth full of food or rocks! It makes it hard to understand what he’s saying. Every time I see he’s the narrator, I second guess if I even want to read the book, but I love this author
