Not really about software development

Despite the subtitle, this is almost entirely focused on Kanban in general or manufacturing Kanban. It's not valueless--a lot of the principles apply. But if you're somewhat familiar with Kanban and looking for insight on implementing it in a software project, look elsewhere.
