From beloved author Lois Duncan comes a frightening novel about a group of students who set out to teach their malicious teacher a lesson -- only to learn that one of them could be a killer.Mr. Griffin is the strictest teacher at Del Norte High, with a penchant for endless projects and humiliating students. Even straight-A student Susan can't believe how mean he is to her crush, Dave, and to the charismatic Mark Kinney. So when Dave asks Susan to help a group of students teach Mr. Griffin a lesson of their own, she goes along with them. After all, it's a harmless prank, right?

This is about some teenagers who try to scare their English teacher into being nicer. It all goes terribly wrong. The author did a good job with character development of each person. I couldn’t stop listening. The narrator did a great job. You won’t regret buying it.

Extremely interesting

I liked it but some of the names were wrong, but that's fine for me.

I remember reading this book almost 12 years ago in Middle School and falling in love with it. I've looked for it on audible before, and it is finally available. It's truly a great book, and only reminds me the butchery that Hollywood has done to the likes of Lois Duncan. Of special note; this audiobook performance has a few updates that I feel were a little unnecessary to appeal to younger audiences: they mention googling, iPods and other modern references that surely were not even conceived when this book was written in '78. But it is still a great book! Give it a listen!

The story was great for the most part and had me on the edge of my seat at certain points, but the ending just wasn't entirely satisfying. A certain plot point that I assumed would be resolved with a big reveal seemed to have just been completely forgotten and the question brought up by this plot point is never answered.

Unsatisfying Ending :(
