The Russian mob recruited a hired gun from New York, and the guy looked exactly like Walt Williams.

This uncanny resemblance landed Walt in the dog house with his wife, the cops, and the Italian mob. It takes all Walt’s skill and cunning to stave off an all-out war between the Russians and Italians and undo the damage wrought by his evil twin.

Lady Justice and the Evil Twin by Robert Thornhill is a fascinating listen. I love how the author writes books that make me pause to think. The idea of having a doppelgänger is both mind boggling and fascinating at the same time. This book has Walt meeting his nemesis, who is up to no good. The storyline is original and fast paced. George Kuch is delightful bringing the characters to life. I can hear exactly who is speaking. I cannot recommend this series enough. The characters are endearing and quirky, and full of their share of trouble. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more by both the author and narrator.

Lady Justice and the Evil Twin Kindle Edition
by Robert Thornhill

Walt Williams faces his most challenging case yet. A Russian hit man, evil twin or doppelganger of Walt himself has been brought to Kansas City to take out a Russian that is about to turn state's evidence. Viktor Kozlov is making his way around Kansas City killing, robbing and terrorizing people and leaving Walt to take the fall. This is the ultimate in identity theft. Lots of twists and turns with past character appearances as well as newbies. All along the way they work at taking down the Russian mob. The reader will find it difficult to put down this book until the last page!!!

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. My favorite "Walt" voice is back and entertaining the listeners.

The 150 Prompt Doctor Who Reading Challenge - Fourteenth Doctor - 3) Bi-Generation: Read A Book That Explores Identity, Duality Or Second Chances.

I thought this installment in the Lady Justice series was pretty cool. I was laughing quite a bit at parts of the novel, especially when Walt kept getting arrested and he had to keep showing his police buddies as back up.

Enjoyable

A good ex-cop and a Russian mob hitman are opposite in nature but identical in appearance so this makes for some really awful situations. Whether you've read any of the earlier books or not this is a great intro to Lady Justice! No spoilers, just enjoy the fun and mayhem!
George Kuch continues to be excellent as narrator!

Fascinating!

I still love Walt and Ox teaming up. Walt got himself into a lot of trouble even if it wasn't actually him. Love this series and narrators ability to give life to these livable characters. Poor Walt, I'm sorry you had to have cataract surgery. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
