Lady Mary Contrary is the second novella in the Regency Ever After series, and is a sweet and clean, romantic retelling.

Cute Regency twist/retelling.

This was a cute Regency retelling with some twists of its own. I liked the overall story. As far as the narration goes, I was surprised at first it was AI, it was better than I expected, thought it doesn’t quite capture the emotions and the male voice was harder to differentiate. That being said, it was still pleasant and easy to listen to. I recommend it. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

Didn’t like the virtual voice. The story itself was nice. But the automated voice doesn’t give the story the same depth. Not a fan of virtual voice.
