A complete delight from start to finish!

Janey Parker’s had a thing for Quinn … well, forever, but Quinn has changed, significantly… Now, tasked by her viciously evil boss with a mission … a mission that leads her directly to Quinn, Janey will need every trick she knows, AND Quinn in her corner, if she’s to stands a chance of not losing everything! Fabulous in EVERY way “Lady & the Vamp” is a delightfully perfect listen! The story is fantastically written with abundant wit and humor, the plot is unpredictable, yet flows smoothly and never leaves the listener hanging or feeling confused! There’s plenty of action and pulse pounding “edge of your seat” sequences, but never was I hung out too long before blessed resolution let me breathe again! The characters are pure delight! Unique, quirky, delightfully drawn and incredibly detailed! The narration, oh holy wow, the narration made these characters and this story vault out of my headphones and truly come alive in my living room. I closed my eyes and I could “see” this story play out in vivid color, and in real time! It was absolutely brilliant! Both narrators, every character, every line, every emotion, every feeling, truly bringing this author’s vision to glowing fruition from the first word to the last! It was AMAZING! I loved it! I want more! Five stars!

Barkley is Back!

This book is a continuation of Michelle Rowen's Immortality Bites series. Unlike the first two books which follow the story of Sarah and Thierry, this one follows the story of two vampire hunters: Janie and Quinn (well, Quinn is actually a former vampire hunter).

Like the first two books, this book is full of action and humor. Rowen has a way of inserting humor even when characters are fighting for their lives.

I like the development of the characters, and I was particularly happy to see Barkley, my favorite werewolf, in this book. I even like Lenny, the hopeless romantic who (occasionally) has good poetry to cut the tension. Poor Lenny sounded devastated when he realized that Janie, the subject of his poetry, may like someone else. I cracked up as Lenny wailed "All of my poetry is about you" - the narrator killed the delivery on that line.

There were a lot of twists. You never really know what route Rowen is going to take her characters.

As always, Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson are a dynamic duo who work well together, as if the characters are having a real conversation together. They capture the emotional scenes well, ranging from the fighting-for-your-life scenes to the romance scenes.

I've liked the series so much that I gifted it to a friend of mine. Highly recommend - This book was a great continuation of it.

Janie and Quinn's Story

An enemies to Lovers romance of a dort. this is Book 3 of the series, but it could be listened to as a standalone without feeling like you are missing a lot of information. you will miss the world building and the existence to vampires, hunters, werewolves, and witches. The book is filled with action, hijinx, and humor throughout. The narrator did a great job and the story ends with a satisfying HEA.

A second chance for Janie and Quinn??? An old crush with flames still burning , but Janie needs to save her sister. Will Quinn end up helping her or will an old friend intervene to complicate things? Malcolm has a way of continuing to turn up when least expected like a bad penny. Two love stories waiting to be written , but will others end it before it gets a chance to grow?? Some very harrowing times with some very evil people. Can good win out over evil??? The odds were stacked against them. This was a great addition to the series. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrators brought magic to a good storyline and I enjoyed it immensely.

Fun Addition To This Series!!

After meeting and getting to know Quinn from the first 2 books, I was happy to finally read his story. A light and funny read full of great characters, a fun storyline, and witty banter. This is a terrific series, and I look forward to each book!
