Book #3 in the Immortality Bites series!
Former vampire hunter Michael Quinn’s life became a nightmare the moment he was turned into a vampire. His only hope is a long-lost magical artifact that, once every millennium, will grant its power to its possessor. Fortunately for Quinn, he has a map that will lead him right to it. All he needs to do is find the treasure, and—boom—he can be human again. Problem solved. Seems simple enough, right?
Janie Parker has the ultimate boss from hell. As an employee at a top-secret paranormal agency, she must complete her unsavory assignments or risk a torturous death. Her latest mission is to track a vampire who’ll lead her to an ancient treasure. Easy, she thinks. At least, until she sees that the vampire is Quinn, someone she’s had a crush on since she was just a kid.
When Quinn and Janie meet, sparks fly, and it’s an all-out race to be the first one to get their hands on the treasure.
Author Note: Lady & the Vamp was previously published in 2008 by Grand Central Publishing. This edition has been edited and updated from the original manuscript.

A complete delight from start to finish!

Like the first two books, this book is full of action and humor. Rowen has a way of inserting humor even when characters are fighting for their lives.
I like the development of the characters, and I was particularly happy to see Barkley, my favorite werewolf, in this book. I even like Lenny, the hopeless romantic who (occasionally) has good poetry to cut the tension. Poor Lenny sounded devastated when he realized that Janie, the subject of his poetry, may like someone else. I cracked up as Lenny wailed "All of my poetry is about you" - the narrator killed the delivery on that line.
There were a lot of twists. You never really know what route Rowen is going to take her characters.
As always, Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson are a dynamic duo who work well together, as if the characters are having a real conversation together. They capture the emotional scenes well, ranging from the fighting-for-your-life scenes to the romance scenes.
I've liked the series so much that I gifted it to a friend of mine. Highly recommend - This book was a great continuation of it.
