Great memories of my own past days, even though it is all a fantasy. Fun stories.

Very enjoyable

I have so say, I amost didn't make it past the first chapter -- Man, it is slow. Once I got past it, I loved pretty much everything after it. Garrison Keillor reads it like a champ. I have listened to it many times, and still laugh at the residents of Lake Wobegon. If you can get past the first chapter, I think you will like this book, too.

liked it was read by Garrison Keillor with home spun emotion. the narration was vivid and characters immediately familiar.

Brilliant

There’s little that can improve upon these lake Wobegon tales. It’s a short but good read and reminds one of the highs and lows and mistakes of life.
