Nathaniel Pierce ran away from home and the painful memories of his past. He's recreated himself in Eureka Springs. No longer a veterinarian, he's Nate the landscaper. When old Lilly Connor dies, the whole town turns to him to watch out for her granddaughter.

Lilly Ramirez never knew she was named after her grandmother. In fact, she didn't know she existed. She heads to Eureka Springs against her mother's wishes to learn about the hidden side of her family, and hopefully find direction for her life. The small town isn't anything like she expected, it's way better. The only downside is the sinfully hot man that feels the need to judge her for things that were out of her control.

He wants to forget, and she wants to be enough. Can they work out their issues to find love?

This was a lot of fun. Lilly and Nate were such a mess. I loved that Lilly was so feisty and kept pushing Nate forward in his healing process even though she didn't know what he needed to get over. I laughed and other times my heart ached for both of them. It was also great to get glimpses of Kerri and Eric from Chocolate Kisses. Still no happily ever after for them. Maybe the author will give it to them soon?

The narrator was fantastic. I loved the southern accents (maybe because I'm from the south and it made me happy). She also did a great job with the Spanish phrases. They sounded natural. Pruner also put a lot of emotion into her reading. It's what I imagine watching a show would sound like if I was blind. I could feel it.

A fun, spicy romance!

Landscape Love is a bittersweet story of two lost souls who are brought together to help each other heal. Nate has run from his former life as a veterinarian when his wife and unborn son were killed in a crash. He is hiding in plain sight, but his feelings are buried deeply. Lilly just found out that her grandmother has left her an inheritance, a grandmother she never knew existed. Lilly's mother hasn't spoken to her mother since before Lilly was born and the reason comes out slowly. As Lilly sorts through her grandmother's things, she learns of a different life that she knows nothing about. What she learns about her mother would be touching, if her mother weren't such a coldhearted woman. Lilly and Nate have hot chemistry that sizzles, both hot and cold, and he is starting to feel things for her that he shouldn't. He hasn't let go of his wife, yet, and Lilly won't settle for second best. This is a truly lovely story and I am cheering for them to make it as a couple. The characters that populate other books in this series become an essential part of the story, but this definitely works as a standalone.
Kelly Pruner does a wonderful job with the narration. Her clear, dynamic voice is well-paced and modulated as she brings each character to life.

This is the third book in the Eureka in Love series, a small town romance. Nathaniel (Nath) and Lilly's story is sweet, and emotional, filled with secrets, and family drama. I loved their slow burn romance. The ending is heartwarming. Kelly Pruner did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

Landscape Love was such a cozy and heartfelt romance that really pulled me in from the start. The story follows Nathaniel Pierce, who has tried to leave his painful past behind and start fresh in the charming town of Eureka Springs. Now known simply as Nate the landscaper, he’s built a quiet life for himself, until Lilly Ramirez shows up.

Lilly travels to town after discovering a whole side of her family she never knew existed. She’s hoping to learn more about her grandmother and maybe even figure out her own path in life. What she doesn’t expect is Nate, the sinfully attractive but frustratingly judgmental man who seems determined to hold her responsible for things that were never her fault.

I really enjoyed watching their relationship slowly unfold. The small-town setting gives the story a warm, comforting feel, and the emotional layers of both characters made their journey toward healing and love feel genuine. There’s just enough tension and tenderness to keep things interesting without losing that sweet romance vibe.

I listened to the audiobook version, and narrator Kelly Pruner did a fantastic job bringing the characters and their emotions to life. Her performance made the story even more engaging and easy to get lost in.

If you enjoy sweet, small-town romances with a satisfying happily-ever-after, this one is definitely worth picking up. It’s a lovely story about second chances, family secrets, and finding love when you least expect it.
