This book was a deep well of insight, encouragement, and wisdom. Leap Over A Wall brought the life of David to life in a fresh, thoughtful, and deeply human way. Eugene Peterson’s writing is rich and pastoral—offering more than just biblical commentary; it’s soul care in every chapter.

The narrator was exceptional—warm, engaging, and perfectly matched to the tone of the book. His voice brought the words to life in a way that made it hard to press pause. It won’t be the last time I listen to this. In fact, I plan to revisit it again and again.

I’m already looking for more books by both the author and the narrator. Highly recommended.

This is a great devotional on David. I love just about everything that Eugene Peterson has written. This book rates in the top of his writings.
