Studies have shown that 86 percent of spoken Italian uses roughly about 1,000 words. In this audiobook, I have endeavored to teach the words that are most commonly used, so you would be gaining a very good grasp of Italian vocabulary if you commit to persevering to the end.

First, I touch on some basic grammar rules which will help you with Italian sentence structure. I use conversational sentences, poems, and songs to help put into context all the vocabulary that you will be learning every day. In the audiobook, I also sing the songs in the book, so it makes for a more immersive, entertaining, and effective learning experience.
