The Ruined Records Duet is one of my favorite omegaverse stories. Simultaneously spicy and riddled with angst and heartbreak, it pulls you in and keeps you wanting more. Part One, Left in Ruins, sets the stage: the Daughter of Rock, the heartbroken and flailing Lyric, meets and is saved by a band healing from their own loss.

It’s a medium-fast burn romance that reaches inferno heat levels in Part Two. We are gifted with MF and MFM scenes in this book, including first-time knotting.

Narration Review:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Vanessa Moyen and Michael Gallagher gave us an outstanding dual narration of Left in Ruins.

Vanessa always impresses me with her range of voices. Her Lyric was performed exactly as I heard her in my head while reading the story, and her Saint was to die for. She brings her characters to life and infuses each with a unique voice.

Michael’s voice is NSFW – he performed Lachlan with a sexy, panty-soaking tone that only enhanced his already dirty mouth. His scenes were hot on the page, only enhanced through Michael’s performance. The other men were treated with the same care.

This is a wonderful performance of one of my favorite omegaverse duets, and I highly recommend it. Both as a ‘reread’ and to first-time listeners. I look forward to the second half of the duet.

The Music In Her Heart

This story will tear you down, and then it will build you back up again & again. Following the journey of Lyric’s relationships with her men is almost as satisfying as watching all of their personal journeys from within. This story is satisfying on soooo many levels, and gives you the perfect blend of raw emotions, as well as scorching chemistry & spice. As for the narrators, they are perfection! This story was brought to life in a way that made the characters feel like people in my own life, and made me care that much more about what they were going through. The narrators did a wonderful job of giving each character a distinct voice & vibe. Can’t wait for the 2nd book to get to audio ❤️

Too many characters

Difficult when listening because I couldn’t remember which character was speaking. Other than that it was pretty good. I liked the female lead. Didn’t like all the drugs everyone did, but I get it. They are in the rock world.

I really enjoyed it

The story and narration is great. It was a little confusing keeping all the male characters straight but not too bad. Headed straight to book 2
