I've been marked for death, but these dragons are determined to set me free.

All shifters are cursed, but me more than anyone. With barely any abilities to speak of, staying two steps ahead of the monster stalking my every move has been nearly impossible. But a freak robbery that goes awry brings my life on the run crashing to a bloody halt.

I need to run again, but my escape from the hospital is complicated by a doctor with eerily colored eyes that see far more than I want him to. He and his friends have decided I'm theirs to protect, want me to believe I'm safe with them, but I know the truth.

I will never be safe. Not when freedom comes at a price I'm not willing to pay.

Mark-mates are supposed to be someone's missing piece, but somehow my jagged edges fit into three different puzzles. Trading one captor for three is out of the question, yet my stalker won't turn a blind eye to Stone, Kodiak, and Raiden. Not when they'll shatter his delusions that I'm fated to be his.

They're everything that he's always feared, and I don't think even I'll escape his wrath this time.

Contains mature themes.

Admittedly, I’ve only listened to about half the book. I only made it that far because I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. I fell asleep listening to this and when I woke up about 30 minutes later, I hadn’t missed anything. I didn’t have to back track at all to figure out what was going on.

Girl dragon on the run from some baddy. We’re then introduced to three male dragons. They want to protect her. She has scars. They move in together. That’s it. No fun banter. No back story. Characters are weak. I won’t be finishing.

Boring

Not enough character introductions or development. Not enough world building. Not enough anything. Unfortunately felt bored while listening and apathetic at the end even with the “cliffhanger” that should intrigue the audience. I don’t care about these characters or their journey. Sorry!

Not Enough… Anything

I liked this but I am half way and bored. It's probably just my mood and I will add it to read at a later time.

I just could not get into this book. I tried. I really tried. The storyline is a bit discombobulated, I feel like parts are missing. I’m also having a hard time reconciling that through many of the chapters they are dragons and then randomly in one chapter as Stone is telling their history they are suddenly demons trapped in bodies that turned into dragons? I cannot wrap my head around that. I read a lot of paranormal and shifter romance and that plot line is just not making sense to me. Last thing I have issue with is the narration. The narration is slow and mostly monotone. There is little to no energy behind it, and it not only sounds depressing, but I FEEL depressed listening to voices that seem like they are just sad all the time. I quit in the middle of chapter 24. I just couldn’t listen anymore.

Ehhhhh (some spoilers)
