Just ok

The story was just OK. It was an HR story with none of the male characters really liking each other until the very end of book 3. The narrators were a little slow, and I had to listen to it and fast-forward.

Different, Spicy, Great Voice Actors

This first book in the series introduces most of the main characters although we haven't met them all. It also does a great job of setting up the world and background information but there are hints to a lot more information coming. It's written really well, is very interesting, and there isn't a dull moment. Very enjoyable book! The voice actors have brought a great story to life. They have done a wonderful job, no complaints.

Very immature writing

It doesn't flow well and the writing style lacks maturity. It feels like I'm reading a poorly done AI version of a fantasy romance. I do regret purchasing.

Honestly weird

I usually don’t leave negative reviews but this was honestly really not good. Another review had said it was immature writing and I have to agree. The dialogue and relationships were honestly unnatural and awkward. Additionally I did not like the narration, the female narrator could have done better with the dialogue, it felt stilted. It could have been she was doing her best with what she had to work with…

I wanted to love this but…

I really wanted to love this. The story had some promise but it was really rushed and had zero character development. A lot of nothing happened. Really disappointed and won’t be continuing with the rest of the books.
