The best selling 6-books series is now complete!

Once a powerful player. Now, a level 1 monster. And he must embrace that side to survive.

Oren was a dominant force in the bustling digital realm of NEO, commanding wealth, prestige, and high levels. But when fate deals him a cruel blow, trapping him in the body of a lowly goblin and depriving him of his ability to log out, Oren is forced to fight for survival.

Stripped of his immense powers and cast into a hostile, monster-ridden wilderness, with the constant risk of the game frying his nervous system, his only way out of the virtual purgatory is to win.

But it’s not easy starting from scratch as one of the weakest races. Preyed upon by both monsters and players alike, his only hope for allies lies with … other goblins.

Join Oren on a thrilling journey as he rises to the challenge of transforming the weakest of creatures into an unstoppable force. Delve into his quest to turn his level 1 fodder character into a boss monster powerhouse. Experience the thrill of watching Oren's journey to greatness unfold.

A very fun and very long first entry in what i hope is a many book series. I usually avoid litrpgs where the people can log out (which most of them can) but the way the mc gets stuck is very believable and gives him a real goal to work towards. Only one game mechanic made me cringe and go, "no one would make or play a game like that." Which is high praise for this genre. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the litrpg genre. I can't wait for the next one.

Surprisingly great! Good design.

This would be a perfect first title for someone wanting to see it they like these types of stories. Very thorough, but keeps the pace steady and easy to follow. I will be eagerly waiting for the next one.

Great LitRPG

This was overall an interesting book. Reminds me of a self insert fan fiction, but in an original mmorpg world.

Without giving too much away I felt that the book started to drag on the farther I got into it. When I preferred to hear what was going on the book would go on about abilities and numbers, which granted are all part of the mmo experience, but still it seemed to drag on a bit.

All that aside it was a good listen for the majority of it and it built its world very well. If you are a fan of MMOs then I would recommend this one.

Reason for the length is due to spreadsheets.

This book is perhaps the best bargain in the whole Audible litRPG list--24 hours for 1 credit!!!!! It's a pretty nice example of the genre as well. The twist on this one is the protagonist is the only player character to control a monster, which makes for some interesting material. With a 24 hour span of time, the author has scope enough to get across the grind of building a settlement from scratch, while restraining himself admirably from getting bogged down in minutiae. My only complaint deals with the way the protagonist refuses to use a special item to even save himself from serious physical pain out of (essentially) greed. The resulting descriptions of said torture becomes pointless since we have been told by the character himself *why* he didn't use it (which is essentially greed). I found myself completely unsympathetic to this needless suffering as a result, physically skipping over it using the button provided on the app, angry at the character and the author for such gratuitous (and graphic) violence. It really spoiled the last part of the book for me. A shame too since the book overall was so engaging. I'll probably cautiously buy the next installment.

A real contribution to the Audible litRPG offerings
