Eric Von Jares wrote his first creative work - a poem at age 15 - and became a lifelong fan of the written word. After attaining a graduate degree, he continued to write poetry, short stories, and magazine articles for national publications such as Parents Magazine and The Saturday Evening Post. His poetry book, Chronicles of a Romantic, is also now available along with other writings.

Thoughtful blend and mix of stories

I enjoyed this collection because it really feels like you’re sitting with someone who has lived a full, layered life. I connected most with the real essays. They made me smile and think at the same time. The inspirational section had a calm, steady feel to it, and the final short stories brought in emotion and depth. It’s a nice blend of humor, reflection, and heartfelt moments. I’m glad I picked this one up.

A beautiful collection of poems

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. The collection of poems is compelling and insightful. I have listened to a few poems a couple of times and taken a deep dive into my own life. The author is a great storyteller and has made the flow of poems make sense. The book is well written and the narrator super easy to follow.
