That cliff hanger though!

Voice acting was on point, the soul narration was everything I always look for in an audio book, no voice mimicking!
The story was super fast paced but intertwining. And that cliff hanger will leave you wanting the next!!

Entertaining!

The story follows sisters, Holly and Blair who are picking up the pieces together after the death of their mother. They have seemingly ordinary lives, until one night when Blair meets a handsome Stranger at a bar.

Strange things begin happening to Blair. She has a recurring dream about a pavilion in a garden feels all too real. Her hands begin to tingle and glow with a magic she didn’t know she possessed. Powers hidden away for her own protection. But why are they appearing now? And what does the mysterious hooded man who calls to her want?

The bulk of the spicy scenes are near the end of the book and they caught me off guard in the best way. I’m really glad the story is a series and I am looking forward to the next one. This author has a lot of potential and I am looking forward to seeing what she comes up with next.

Cliffhanger on POINT

I loved the narrators and how well they kept the storyline flowing. This author keeps you engaged each chapter and the ending left me impatiently waiting for book 2. She clearly lays out the history of her characters and describes them so well, I can picture each scene in my head as they play out. Well done D.V. Leigh!!!!

The plotline is definitely there

I thought the story concept was super interesting.

I thoroughly enjoyed the narrators and their performance

I did however feel like some parts were a bit confusing and jumpy in the middle but mostly came together towards the end

Can’t wait for the next book!

There was a lot of world building in the beginning, the girls solving the mystery of their past. By the last 3/4s of the book everything was unfolding rapidly and it leaves you on the biggest cliffhanger! Can’t wait to see how it all plays out. The narration was top notch.
