A,short story that continues the ongoing saga about life in Jacobsville, TX. Leo, the last of the Hart brothers, finally gets his own biscuit maker. Janie, the daughter of his good friend and neighbor Fred Brewster. At first Leo hurts her, then has to convince her to give him another chance.
The story line regarding the dead bulls is advanced but not concluded in this book. We are also introduced to the character of The Georgia Firefly, who will have her own story later in this series.
This narrator does a fair job with males voices (especially the drunk man), but his attempts at a female voice are horrific. Absolutely creepy!
