the narrators were excellent and the love story was really sweet and shows how love really does conquer all. would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Amazing!

I have finished the first and second book in a week. I am myself a survivor of abuse, recently recovered. Both books helped me relate to my own traumas without getting triggered. First time I have listened to something ‘healing’, while feeling entertained at the same time. I think it might be related to how the story is told. Well done, Diamond Johnson! And thank you for demonstrating ways to find peace without having to shut out ‘the realities of life’ from our ‘healing narratives’.

this book took me thru too many emotions!! I'm glad Antonia is gaining her voice!! I love the way Jah and his family loves on her!! so many twists!!! and that aunt...whew chile who needs enemies!!

Good book but the end

Good book but these ends are pissing a girl off. Come on now. I needs to know what happens. Going crazy.
