Annie Spelman discovers her adoptive parents kept her adoption a secret for a reason, and someone will stop at nothing short of murder to keep that secret.

Since Ian Wallace was helping his best friend, Michael, keep an eye on his sister when they were children, he can't forgive himself for letting his best friend's sister get kidnapped. He's dedicated his life to finding Janie Lohman and other missing children like her. Finding her, and the truth, may kill them both.

This was an easy listen, a bit of a mystery although a little far fetched is my personal opinion. Worth the listen though. This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBlast dot com.

Light mystery

Little Orphan Annie by Susette Williams was an entertaining quick mystery, though it was a tad bit predictable. Even though it was predictable, it was still worth listening to. There is a little mention of faith and God in this book, though it is not overwhelming if novels that touch on faith aren't your thing.

This is the story of Alice looking for her birth family and the men that want to keep her from finding out the truth. She hires Ian, a PI, that typically specializes in finding children to help her. Meanwhile, Ian also finds himself in the middle of another, current serial child abduction case that has been going on for years. This was an easy, fun listen and was perfect for driving around running errands over the weekend!

Allyson Voller did a great job narrating this quick listen. She voiced everyone from Grannie to Annie to Ian well and was easy to understand. I've listened to her performances in the past and I know that I'll enjoy the narration when Ms. Voller has done it. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.
