loved everything about this book

I absolutely loved Ryan and Leigh's story. I loved everything about this book and I reccomend it to anyone who loves Christian Mysteries.

Home Run!!!!

From the Romantic Suspense Connoisseur…This series hits a home run & that takes a lot for me to say!!! First, she did great with the murder mystery. The story keeps the action going and keeps you guessing “who done it?” until the end! Secondly, finally…Mature characters! All players in this series are likable, even admirable. The female leads are Not whiny “does he like me/ does he not”…and they do Not play the “I’m mad at him” card for stupid embarrassing reasons. The female leads are mature, likable, balanced, and appreciative of the protection provided. They are strong…but not so headstrong they stupidly play the “I don’t need help or protection” card after obvious attacks on their lives. Lastly, the narrator has to be just right for me. The women need to sound like women & men like men. I hate when a book hits all the right notes then the narrator’s vocal range is so thin, the males sound like pre-pubescent boys. That ruins the whole thing for me & I can’t listen. Kate Forbes has the range for the ladies to sound like ladies and the men like strong grown men. I’m really rating this whole series thus far. Headed into the 3rd book. This hits All the right notes for me. Very impressed. This series is a winner! Bravo!

Good Mystery

It was a good mystery. It felt like it took long to get to it. I liked how they develop the characters and the storyline and the plot twists, but I feel like it took a while to get there. It was dragging a little.
