Each story is taken from newspaper clippings, reports, and letters written during America’s greatest conflict. Yes, the true events have been fictionalized somewhat to give the characters personality and voice. This audiobook is for listeners interested in true history. It is currently being used by a local university as recommended reading in their history department.
