Somewhat Inspirational Book

After listening to Living a Laptop Lifestyle, I've been inspired to delve deeper into my own creative potential. Any book that stimulates a renewed self-confidence to participate in the act of creation is worth spending time with. This book does that, while also encouraging readers or listeners to make money being creative, by starting an online business. The wisdom the writers share is a compilation of their personal journey to success. They offer tons of ideas on how to get started and how to succeed. Of course, one isn't going to attain the same success from just reading this book. Like all successful people, you still have to stay committed to your goals. You would do well to read or listen to this book, because if anything, it offers encouragement and affirmation; it motivates and inspires you to pursue your goals.

Everything the beginner needs to know

This book is a complete "how to"'for everyone who wants to transform the 9-5 grind into a laptop lifestyle. It is honest and sincere. Greg and Fiona explain everything in simple terms and outline the steps to success while pulling no punches. A great book to listen to while you exercise, but packed with so much info. I will get a hard copy to refer to.

good content but out of date

A solid start for anyone looking to leave their day job but the content being internet-related is very dated from the 2000's
Would be a 5 Stars if they revisit and update the content.

Good if you're looking for the basics

It's okay - but basic. It's a fine enough book if you're looking for the basics, because you're just starting out, and have never run (or dabbled in) an online business.

If you're already even modestly experienced, but would like to know specifically about how to make it work "working while travelling the world" I suggest you get Natalie Sisson's book The Suitcase Entrepreneur instead.
