An amazing story, now on audio

I read Long Live in 2023 and loved reading Isla and the Elemental’s story. Isla is such a strong character and I enjoyed watching her meet, become friends with, and sometimes go up against the Elementals in order to keep herself and her family safe. The story is told from several POVs but the plot never gets lost and the story really comes together through the various character’s eyes. The plot twists are unexpected and tie the story together and really set us up for the conclusion in book 2. I can’t wait to see how this story ends!

Sweet fantasy with strong characters

I enjoyed this story. I'm glad Isla wasn't a whiny female character, but rather strong and compassionate. She was easy to like.
The elementals seemed shallow and not easy to like at first, but as you get to know them and as they learn what they need to, you can see their characters developing.
I would have liked to see more about Arden, Isla's twin brother, he plays a very minor background character.
Brielle was funny and lovable. I loved her loyalty to her best friend.
I did enjoy this book. It was easy to get into. I wasn't a fan of the narrator's different voices, but it wasn't something to stop me from finishing the book.

Very good from the beginning. I don’t like how she had a first love and I don’t like that the FMC makes a switch later on. This was still a very good book though. My only critique is probably something that a lot of people will love. Just not my thing.

What a magical ride, this was such a fascinating world that VB built and I absolutely loved it. From the elementals to the mortals and everyone in between, I adored these characters. I love that we get so many points of view from them as each one is fascinating in their own way.

The romances are really interesting too. I'm loving Aiden and Kai, but this little triangle forming around Isla has me drooling and screaming for more (coming from someone who hates love triangles *nervous laugh*).

The cliffhanger sent me over the edge. I'm absolutely reeling from the secrets that were spilled and I can't wait to dive in to Eternal Reign.

The audio was amazing. I love Kate Clark and TJ Clarke so much, they did incredible jobs narrating this cast of characters.

Excellent narration and a bonus song!

I love the story, your basic "fallen angel seeks revenge" tale, but the narration really brings it to life. Elijah's song, as narrated by a woman singing as a teenage boy, is true talent...and it's such a pretty little song. I love the bonus performance at the end as well. I look forward to seeing what happens next for Adele and her new found found family of humans, angels and Crows.
