Losing London is an epic love story filled with nail-biting suspense, forbidden passion, and unexpected heartbreak.

When cancer took the life of Mitch Quinn’s soulmate, London Adams, he never imagined that one year later her sister, Harper, whom he had never met before, would show up in Emerald Isle, NC. Until this point, his only reason to live, a five-year-old cancer survivor named Hannah, was his closest tie to London.

Harper, recently divorced, never imagined that work - a research project on recent shark attacks - and an unexpected package from London would take her back to the island town where her family had vacationed in her youth. Upon her arrival, she meets and is instantly swept off her feet by a local with a hidden connection that eventually causes her to question the boundaries of love.

As Mitch’s and Harper’s lives intertwine, they discover secrets that should have never happened. If either had known that losing London would have connected their lives in the way that it did, they might have chosen different paths.

I recently had met the author at an event, and purchased a couple of his books, but decided to listen to this one through audible. The story was sweet, and for the most part believable. The only thing I would say, is that the romance between the main characters happened in one week. A little unrealistic I’m afraid. But I enjoyed the book overall, and would recommend it with the exceptionthat the person who narrated the book was very difficult to listen to. His different interpretation of different characters in the book was at times ridiculous. I recommend purchasing the book and reading it for yourself.

Narration was difficult to listen to.

The narrator was very stinted and mechanical. It sounded like my computer was reading the story

The story was great!

Nice story but the reader sounded like a robot. No inflection or emotion in his voice. Made the story hard to listen to.

Almost had to turn it off
