I never meant to say a word, not one single word. But I did.

And now, because of my blog, everyone knows that Ice Knights hockey star Ian Petrov's best friend and fellow player is actually his half brother - hello, hockey Hall of Famer dad who couldn't keep his jeans zipped.

That wouldn't be such a big deal if Ian knew. He didn't, and boy howdy is he pissed. And who is he most mad at? Oh sure, he's upset with his dad and former best friend/brother from another mother, but most of his ire is with me. It's definitely a case of hating the messenger.

And what could make it worse? How about the two of us being trapped together in a remote cabin after a massive blizzard. Neither of us can leave. Just us, the snow, his resentment, and OMG sexual tension so thick it would take a snowplow to break through it.

I've got to get out of here before I do something even dumber than I've already done and kiss the sexy snarly grump with his misplaced anger and perfect pecs. That would be the worst, the absolute worst. That's why I'm not going to do it. Nope. Really. So why can't I stop imagining what it would be like?

I love listening to Avery Flynn’s audibles. Good story, good narrators. My only dislike was all the Fbombs. Can’t wait for the next book!

The characters were intriguing but the story was choppy and shallow. I was left wanting more of the story

Not as good as the last books

I liked the story and the characters, but the story felt very short and kind of rushed. I would have really appreciated a bit more story before they got down and dirty, that part felt like it came out of nowhere with no lead up and barely any attraction. I also would have liked more of her backstory. I may be in the minority here, but I also really dislike the epilogue baby trope. I wish authors would just leave well enough alone and not do time jump epilogues.

Great story, I wish it were longer

I adored this story by Avery Flynn. The narration added so much more depth the characters that I grew to love. Ian and Shelby are not your typical match but they made it so entertaining to see where they go. Shelby has made the biggest mistake of her career that affects more than just her. Her mistake also affects Ian in the worst way. Can he come back from that? Can her explanation make up for all the secrets his father has kept? So well written and so well preformed.

Loved Shelby and Ian

How parents can screw up their kids is amazing, but worse when the parents could care less. Even the smallest choice a parent makes can change the future for their child. I feel for Ian. I feel for Alex. I understand why Ian can't let it go or deal. He has the right to freak out for awhile. I was upset at the teams administration for forcing him to deal in public. Or Lucy for forcing them all together. Plus, Alex has a huge head. Dude needs to have someone take him down a peg. The good thing is he isn't a total dick like his dad. He just knows how good he is and makes sure to tell everyone. He needs a book in the future. One where he finds a women who deflates his ego a bit. I love the Heroine and even though the Hero is an angry bear, he shows the inner teddy bear. The Heroine has shown she is a survivor and even with her previous weaknesses, she has grown strong. I love a strong independant women who don't need men, but find comfort in good ones arms. The performance was great and I enjoyed it so much I barely though about the voices. Just the story. I love it when that happens. Worth the listen.

Assh*@e Father all out for himself.
