Love Match, average but enjoyable?

This is the first work by Kyell Gold I've ever read. I found him when i was looking for furry books which seems like only he has ever written. Love Match was dissapointing story-wise skips in the timeline seemed lazy and I got lost often in the story. I think his other books will be better.

Great start to the series

First off, I'd like to mirror what many others in the reviews have said: I hope that the rest of the series is released as well! It's a fantastic coming of age story with the challenges of being an international student in an extremely competitive sport, adding family issues on top of that. I read the book many years ago, but came back again after rereading (listening) to the Out of Position series and Waterways among other Gold books, and Gold and Sewell don't disappoint. Highly recommend if you've read through any of Kyell Gold's library.

Great story brought to life!

I was disappointed that it just ended. I’m not sure if it’s meant for the listener to come their own conclusions, or if there is a “Part two,” but I’m going to look for it.

Also, I really enjoyed the story. Kyell is an excellent writer, and Jeremy really brings the characters to life!

Can't wait for the release of the next book!

loved this book ! really, really hoping that the next book will be out on audible soon - with the same reader I hope! Ends on such a cliffhanger!

Good shit

It just hits different. I started listening to this right after Waterways and I just couldn't do it. The idea of everyone getting their happy ending made me experience a jealousy I've never had before. But eventually I did keep reading and Rocky started facing issues that related somewhat to what I was facing and it gave me some sort of relief. Can't wait for volume 2
