Great story! I am never disappointed when I read a BSJ book! This is a must read (or listen) or one that you will want to share with your book loving friends.

Wow! What a story!

I loved this story. If I can give it 10 stars I would. I can see myself re-reading this story over and over again. Brenda created a beautifully plotted and executed dramatic love story that had a plot twist that I was totally taken by surprise with. This story had me running the gambit of emotions. I found myself laughing, crying, and swooning. Sawyer is now on the list of my many favorite book boyfriends. LOL!

This was a story about two people who loved and lost and suffered heartbreak. Both Vashti and Sawyer vowed to never love again until they saw each other for the first time. Vashti was hurt by people she loved and trusted. Sawyer was a widower and single father taking care of his teen daughter. He was devasted upon the death of his wife so much so that he moved he and his daughter to a small town with all of the smalltown nuances. It's strange how the plot thickens in this story. We now know why Vashti came back to Catalina Cove. It was predestined to happen. Jade, Sawyer's daughter was not the typical teen. She was so cute and wise beyond her years. Vashti finally got closure in her life and Sawyer got a shocking revelation.

I loved this story and I would highly recommend it.

I also loved the narrator, Ron Butler. His voice really made the story come to life and set the mood. He made me swoon a couple of times. I love his voice as Sheriff Sawyer Grisham.
