this book absolutely has my heart. it was funny but also incredibly touching. highly recommend!

hilarious and heartbreaking

has some great lessons that pair beautifully with the comedy. I understand the big lesson in the story and cried as much as I laughed but, spoiler, I wish there had been a happily ever after instead of a happy ish ambiguity with the two parting.... I loved their dynamic and wanted them to figure out a way to be together.

It surprised me.

I came for a goofy romance, but holy f*ck what I actually got left me emotional and thoughtful and everything. I just didn't expect this much. I didn't even expect a fraction of the emotional strength this story had waiting for me.

So yeah, if you want to think about stuff and maybe cry, with a side of romance, go right ahead.

Also why is it always the best gay stories that give me the endings I want from the bad ones? Like after all the tears I'm just supposed to accept that it's different and that's the end of the discussion. Ugh, my heart.

There's one thing to keep in mind. This is her story above all else.

very cute story! this one is actually funny. I almost never get past a smile when reading books but I actually laughed out loud a few times. just read it you'll see
