Her burgeoning career in politics means everything to her, and she's not willing to compromise it for something as insignificant as love. Fleeting, casual, and discreet worked perfectly fine.

When they meet through a dating app, it's immediately clear that they aren't suited for anything more than friendship. Right?

Great story. Awful narrator.

Loved the book, the characters, their struggles. However, the narrator nearly ruined it for me. The voice for Charlotte was great. However, some voices are very out of character - for example, Sutton is a graduate student and valued assistance in literature at a prestigious university. Yet Prince's narration lowers her to a petulant brat rather than an accomplished student. At times the voices were so cringe worthy that I bought the Kindle book and used text-to-speech to listen to it.

I will read anything by Haley Cass but PLEASE consider a better narrator!

Good Love Story Overall

So, I will start by saying I have read this author’s other books which are amazing! I must admit it took me a while to get into this book because I am such a huge fan of Hannah and Caroline’s love story from WYLEI (go read that book right now, if you haven’t). That love story is much more mature. The criticism I have of this story is -it is a bit immature, in my opinion, the whole dating app scenario and situationship they are in. However, by the end I was definitely invested in their relationship and it turned out to be a true moving love story. The writer is very engaging so don’t let the length fool you, you definitely won’t be bored. :) However, I did want to say that the other book is better.

Amazing story of unabated love.

I will read several times over! The author has a firm grasp on the type of romantic love every person should enjoy. It was a reminder to me. That settling for anything less than the love these characters share...well is unacceptable.

The story I’ve been searching for!

Let me start by shouting out, once again, my absolute favorite narrator for these genres on audible! She does an amazing job every single time. She manages to give so much personality to each character that she voices, you literally get lost in the story just listening to her. Like seriously, I will listen to books that I may be skeptical about, just because I see she is narrating them so I just go for it. Bottom line, absolutely love this narrator.
Now the story, absolutely amazing. If you really get into the genres, and sometimes get tired of the 7 to 9 hour stories, this book will most definitely keep you entertained just buy the length of it alone. I honestly can’t stand reviews with spoilers in them, so I’m just going to leave you with this, following these two women throughout the story, along with their friends and family, has been one of the most interesting reads so far in this genre for me. The plot was a yes! The mature content was most definitely a YES! And I’m trying to refrain from sounding too cliché, but this book made me laugh out loud, curse some of the characters out a few times angrily, and even tear up a bit at some moments. Honestly, just read it!
