Horrible Audio

I would have returned the book 2 minutes in because the audio is so bad, but I like this author and want to support her. I'm struggling to finish but I have to do it in small doses. It sounds very tinny like a toy mike was used in a bathroom. All the characters sound alike making it difficult to distinguish who's talking. I'm hoping the story will eventually outshine the poor audio quality.
